About John Kobishop

My name is John Kobishop, founder of JK Media Productions. I wish to take this opportunity to give you an understanding of who I am and some insight about the company. From early on I was driven to learn how everything worked. My taking things apart and putting them back together again was just an understood behavior in my family (I had very understanding parents). Later, while attending College in the evening, I worked for a large company as a machine repairman during the day. In 1978 I took a technical writing position creating technical documentation of all types. I was now in my element. I continued to satisfy my curiosity to learn how products worked, but now I was documenting it for others to learn also. In 1985 I established Techni-Write Services, short for Technical Writing Services. Later, the company name changed to JK Media Productions and for good reason. Through the years we continually added to our line of media and multimedia products and services and therefore needed the Company name to reflect that. We now provide quality technical animations, video and photography in addition to our core business of quality technical documentation. To this day I am passionate toward my profession. I play an active role in each project and continue to have that curiosity to learn about how products work. As technology increases so does my curiosity!
